Statement Painting is a reflection of human curiosity.  In my work, I explore the intuitive connection between environment and self.   Memory is a key aspect in this process and the method is meditative.  I generate all series from imagination using some photographic references for start up and study purpose only.   Content evolves slowly over time, and is secondary to process.   Above all, I value the creative journey. INTERIOR PRAIRIESCAPES Over the course of six years, Interior Prairiescapes evolved into a body of work that currently comprises nine series of imagined landscapes, describing an   emotive relation between environment and self.
